ABSOLUTELY AUSTRALIA TRAVEL GUIDE & DIRECTORY

The South Coast is the narrow coastal belt from Sydney in the north to the border with Victoria in the south in the south-eastern part of the State of New South Wales. To the east is the coastline of the Pacific Ocean, with rolling farmlands, small towns and villages along a rocky coastline, including numerous beaches.

Coastal views spread along the 22 km Kiama Coast Walk, or the 31 km Light to Light Walk on the Sapphire Coast. Clean unspoilt beaches stretch along 20 kilometres of Shellharbour coastline from Lake Illawarra to the Minnamurra River.

There are plenty of opportunities for adventure activities, ranging from surfing and swimming to sailing, hang gliding, paragliding, cycling and abseiling.

Wollongong is the only place in NSW where you can sky dive onto the beach. Batemans Bay attracts everyone from watercolour artists and rock fishermen, to kids building sandcastles, keen surfers and fishing enthusiasts.

Discover pristine locations on a coastline that stretches from the Royal National Park to Eden.
