Sydney enjoys a sunny climate with mild winters and warm summers. Cool in winter to warm and hot in the summer. Sydney's heat is mainly dry in spring, but usually humid in the summertime. Sydney is prone to heat waves and drought, which are becoming more common. Winter in central Sydney tends to be more mild where the lows rarely drop below 7 °C.
