The vast dune area is waiting for you, but remember to stick to the licensed off-road section, which is clearly marked. As there are no boundaries indicated, be careful and take note of the signage. To get there, simply follow the Mitchell Freeway and Indian Ocean Drive, and turn off at the sign for Lancelin. If you're worried about parking, don't be! 2-wheel-drive vehicles can be parked at Bootoo Street. Best of all, the dunes are free and open all year round, 24/7. Be sure to bring eye protection and be prepared for a climb to the top of the dune. There are no amenities on-site, so pack some drinks and enjoy the ride!
